Our chef has received many accolades for his culinary expertise and has developed an impressive choice of four unique dining experiences, each with their own inimitable style and ambiance. Directions : • Exiting N6 to Ballinsaloe - following the signs for Ballinasloe Town • Take third exit (a right turn) at first roundabout and cross over the Motorway • Take second exit (straight through) at roundabout other side of motorway. • Take second exit (veering right) at next roundabout. Left is marked Aughrim. • Follow this road (the old N6) into the town. You will pass Portiuncula Hospital on left. Then a road junction at the Fair Green keep right (i.e. stay on the main road). • At the next roundabout take first exit (a left turn) • You will see the Hotel in front of you on your right. Do not turn in at the front of it unless you are only delivering.

This is a wonderful place to eat. I went recently with my husband to celebrate a birthday. For starters we have chowder and chicken wings. For main course we had duck and cod. All of the food was delightfully cooked and beautifully presented. The staff were pleasant and friendly. We really enjoyed our evening at the Carlton Hotel. I look forward to going back. Mary B.

Lovely food, but quite expensive. My friend and I met there recently. My turn to pick up the tab. The starters were top class. We both had fish. I was very taste. Fish has got very expensive. I would certainly go back, but I think they need to look at the prices. Dee
