We ate on a passing visit by recomendation i am please to say all 5 star esprcially the food we had black pudding boudan and tian of salmon perfect then perfectly cooked angus steak an delicious monk fish with curry rissoto and finished with a perfectly baked chocolate fondant

The Carlton Hotel in Bunclody is one of my favourite restaurants in County Wexford. The evening menu is great value - a meal for two for 60 euro. There is a lovely quiet atmosphere in the hotel. worth a visit if in the area.

Surprising Great Food in a hotael

we stayed 2 nights and ate in the bar and restaurant both good value and excellant quality especially the homemade desserts in the lady lucy restaurant, had the best egg benidict for breakfast in years

The Lady Lucy restaurant at the Carlton Millrace hotel in Bunclody is one of the top restaurants in Wexford. We went there for the evening menu. At 59 euro for two, it was excellent value. We had the duck spring roll and goats cheese for starters. For main course we had the rack of lamb and beef fillet. All beautifully prepared and served with a smile. The atmosphere is excellent and the staff are pleasant and professional. A wonderful evening. We will certainly go back again.
