We were on a week-end drive to Limerick and stopped at Durty Nellys in Bunratty that evening for a bite to eat. Easy access and lots of free parking. After Limerick, that was a change. The menu was extensive and the choices looked exciting. We sat outside and had a drink, ordered our food and ate inside. The decor is relaxing ans the food was excellent. We were delighted we stopped and would certainly visit again. We walked the grounds of Bunratty Castle, very historic. Must go there sometime.

Durty Nellys Restaurant in Bunratty Village is still one of my favourite restaurants in all of Ireland. The setting is wonderful and the food is the best bar food for miles. Always busy and always welcoming. No wonder it is a favourite with tourists. Everyone seems to know of Durty Nellys.

There is a real buzz in Durty Nelly's. The bar menu is top class. Very professionally run. A wonderful place to stop on a Summers evening, with people sitting outside enjoying themselves. The food is a bit pricey, but worth a visit.
