Visited this restaurant Monday evening. Given that the Fleadh Cheoil was in Cavan for the weekend it was probably no surprise that the regular menu was put aside for the standard quick & easy version.
The restaurant decor is dull & dreary & I dont think there was any backgrouind music on at all.
the layout of the restaurant is uncomfortable - the tables all in a row - in order to give privacy there should be a better layout - angled tables - we could hear everything the couple beside us was saying & vice versa & this along with a bright lick of paint is a simple change for any restaurant to make!!!!
Staff are a wee bit distant - we asked if we could order anything from the ''regular'' menu & she said no........... we go there at least twice a month so bad customer service as the fleadh will be gone along with all the strangers it brought with it but we will still be here so some flexibility for those who pay the annual wage should be considered for next year if the fleadh returns!!!!!
The owner of the restaurant does not meet & greet any customers coming in - the advantage is this is the only Italian restaurant in Cavan so competition is needed asap to give these guys a wake up call
Prices generally are very fair & the house white is lovely
Still love the food & will definitely return its just obvious that they are getting the business & cant see the bigger picture or they cannot flex to change

Pizza and Pasta delicious, Veal Parmigianaabsolutely delicious.
Needs Italian Music and some coy waiters & waitresses to liven the place up and people would flock.
Also the house red is a little lets just say 'pale'.
The recipe for sucess is 60%. Could be an absolute goldmine in Cavan town.
Enjoy, Marc.
