Had dinner on Thursday evening, absolutely yumptious, I chose fish & chips from the early bird menu but asked if I could have a starter portion of a main item on the al la Carte, it was no problem, nor was I charged extra as I had expected to be. I hadn't tasted fresh fish like this for a very long time. My daughter had mussels which she said were out of this world so fresh and tasted wonderful. A fresh fresh fresh food experience was we were looking for and got, totally top food. Both of us are very fussy about the food we eat and I have no hesitation in recommending if your in Galway it's more than worth the drive to Mitchells for a meal.I plus 5+ stars.

Mitchell's is one of the best restaurants I have eaten in lately, the food was outstanding and the fish was so fresh. Service and atmosphere were top notch, this really is a restaurant I wouldn't mind visiting again very soon.
