Chapter One Restaurant opened in February 1992 with co-proprietors Ross Lewis and Martin Corbett. It is located in the basement of the Dublin Writers Museum on Parnell Square in Dublin’s city centre.

I was brought here as a treat. I kept feeling guilty as I knew it cost a fortune. The food and the whole setting was out of this world. This is how the other half live and I was there for an evening.

Its obvious to see why Chapter One have their Michelin Star. We were first in and the staff were discreet, professional and just generally lovely. Good value for the quality of food. The staff offered great advice on the menu.I ordered goat cheese in tomato jelly and beef confit in red wine, i loved every last bite. Great place for that special occassion.
