if you want great value bar food in the centre of Dublin, then O'Sheas in Talbot street is the place. This is a traditional Irish pub with real tasty bar food. Apparently O'Sheas is famous as a music venue, where lots of the well know Dublin groups (U2, Thin Lizzy, etc) have launched their careers. Great atmosphere.
OSheas offer some of the finest bar food in Dublin City. I have been there a few time and never disappoints. The food is very well priced for those difficult times. Homemade soup and the fish & chips are my favourite. Highly recommended.
OSheas offer really great bar food at affordable prices. A bowl of soup here on a cold day is a delight. The staff are always really friendly. Well done.

This is a real gem. A few of us went for a bite to eat before going on the town. We stayed there most of the evening. The place has loads of history. U2 and Thin Lizzy used to play here all the time in their early days. Great food and the best pint in town. Dave

This is my favourite Pub / Restaurant in all of Dublin. A real old Dublin pub with home style cooking. Great for those whole like a bit of music with a pint. It has also become a popular haunt for the country GAA guys - Kerry connection.

For a Kerry owned pub, there were really friendly to a group of Cork lads visiting Dublin for a football match. We had a right session here, topped off with a great meal. This must be the best bar food in Ireland, with something on the menu for everyone. The pub is really famous, with U2 and Thin Lizzy having started out there. We plan to go back when we go up for the All Ireland final. Croke Park is just a short walk away and the train station even closer. Up Cork boy. John O.

As one who works in the IFSC, I go for lunch in that area of town all the time. O’Sheas is probably the best value in Dublin. The food is always fresh and hot. The service is excellent and you rarely hear a complaint about O’Sheas Restaurant. The menu offers a wide selection with the specials always very popular. I see the same people there time and time again, which speaks for itself.
The food is well priced and ideal for lunch. No waiting and great service. Where else in Dublin can you get a selection of lunches for under 10 euro...Pat K
