if you like seafood, then this is the spot. some of the best seafood I have ever tasted in in a rustic country bar / restaurant environment. the pint of guinness is not bad either. I was there during a week-end drive along the west clare coastline. this is a real hidden gem and well worth a visit.

Vaughans in Liscannor serve some of the best seafood all along the west coast. I was really impressed. We stumbled on it during a visit to the Cliffs of Moher. Vaughans Bar & Restaurant is just a short distance away. Very friendly people who really know how to cook seafood.

Great food and a lots of local hospitality. I was told it was the best place in Clare for Sunday lunch. Try it if you are in the area. I imagine the yanks would love this place.

Probably the best lunch in West Clare. We visited after seeing the Cliff of Moher. The fish was the best I ever had - everything fresh. The sitting is lovely. I imagine the yanks would love a place like this. A real tourist haunt. They really know how to dish out food. Alan & family...
