I recently attended a small function in Sheridans. I thought that it was an ideal location and venue for small groups. Food was good, service was excellent and value very good. Well worth considering for parties of 10-50.

If you want a good value evening out, with fresh wholesome food, then Sheridan's in milltown is as good as you will get. It was my first time there. I had heard lots about it. Well worth a visit and just as good as the other place down the street. Those people run a good show and offer value which is important in those times.l

Milltown has two of the finest restaurants in Galway with Finn's and Sheridan's side by side. Sheridans is spacious with friendly staff. The menu is extensive and no reservation required. Great place for a large group. Very accessible.

This is one of the best and quickest places to get a bit of food on the N17. Located in Milltown with free parking. The food is top class. Excellent bar menu.

I never noticed Sheridans in Milltow before today even though Iv travelled this road many times - hunger probably opened my eyes today ! The outside looked ok, nice flowers, a few cars, so decided to give it a try. The menu looked promising, but with no other diners we went in blind. The staff were very courteous and friendly. Our order was taken quickly, and there was only a short delay until our food arrived. It was beautifully presented on hot plates. My Mum had Cajun Salmon with sauce on the side, veg & creamed potatoes. It looked and tasted like 5* quality. I had the Angus beef burger with chips - so tasty, & garnished with two home made salads which were deliciously fresh. All home made. Wow what a find. Delicious meal. The waitress said they had been very busy during the day - Im not surprised. It wont always be this quiet. The best was yet to come - the bill. It was 22 - I was amazed at such value for money - excellent. I would recommend it to anyone travelling on the Galway-Sligo route, or going to Knock Airport before a flight. Its as good if not better than some of the really well known eateries in Galway and Sligo. In fact, Iv often stopped in a take-away 2 mins up the road from here, and paid more for less. The toilets too were spotless. Full marks, and next time I'll make sure I have room for the home made deserts.

I stopped for lunch here one day. Pleasently surprised. The food was piping hot and served with great efficiency. I would certainly go there again. From the outside, it looks like a country pub, but inside, they are well organised.

We were exploring Ireland and happened to stop at Sheridan's on a misty evening. What a wonderful surprise for a couple of American tourists!! Wonderfully tasty food and the local people were so nice. If I ever get the chance to go back I won't hesitate. An amazing meal and wonderful time.
