Gleesons Restaurant - very impressive

I was very impressed with Gleeson's Restaurant in Roscommon Town. One of the best I have visited in the area. Food was fresh, well cooked and perfectly seasoned. Obviously a very good chef. This the standard that small restaurants should aspire to.

This is one of the top restaurants in the west of Ireland. I visited with a friend. I had smoked salmon for starter and rib-eye beef for my main course. Both were excellent, fresh, hot and well seasoned. I would certainly go back again. Probably the best restaurant I have been to in the region.
