The style of the food here is best described as Modern Irish Cuisine, with strong European influences – particularly the time-honoured favourites of Mediterranean cooking. The seasonal Pasta dishes from the Evening Menu prove very popular, while the Lunch Menu’s Pasta with Beefstrips in Chilli Cream is a much-loved signature dish of Jackson's. (Note that all of our meat and fish is sourced within Ireland.)

I visited Jacksons last year with my mother and I have never experienced anything like the way we were spoken to. My mother had a seafood dish and when she mentioned that there was something amiss with the batter the waiter was extremely rude. The customer experience has stayed with me since and when looking up restaurants in Roscommon today to visit over the weekend the disgust I felt then came flooding back.

This is a really good restaurant. The service is wonderful and the staff are very friendly. I enjoyed my visit there. I had a pasta dish with beef strips. It was excellent.
