Found Mangos by chance and what a discovery! The fish was beautiful, so fresh and so tasty. The early bird menu was really good value. We would recommend anyone visiting Westport to go to Mangos. It's one of the best restaurants we've been to in the west of ireland.

Booked Mangos after reading reviews. Food did not disappoint. Service was a bit slow. Felt kitchen was running behind waiting staff. Waitress was very pleasent when we first arrived but I could see she was getting worked up as night went on. Meals where slow to come out but worh waiting for. Was disappointed that there was quite a few menu options sold out. Thought they would have stocked up more for a busy night. In saying all this I will definetly return.

Went on Easter Monday with four friends for our night out treat while staying in Westport. What a night.....went on the recommendations I read online....totally agree with all the comments. Non fish lovers have a really good choice too. Baked oysters, scallops and monkfish - am still reliving that meal! Definitely on the list next time we head west. Pat and Roonagh, thanks for a great evening. (sorry about playing with the napkin...!) Helen.

For a really classy night out, Mangos in Westport is as good as it gets. The food is excellent. Not the cheapest place in Westport, but certainly one of the best. The fish is out of this world. Worth a visit for that alone. I have been in a lot of good restaurants and Mangos stacks up with the best.

This is one of my favourite restaurants in the West of Ireland. Mangos restaurant in the centre of the town serve the most wonderful fish dishes. As a family owned restaurant, service is always first class. Westport is a great town to visit for a week-end and a visit to Mangos Restaurant is a must.

Probably the best restaurant in Westport. Went there recently with my partner. The fish was excellent, best I have had in a long time. I had cod and my partner had sole. We had one portion of oysters to start. Never sure about those, but I did manage them. We had a beautiful bottle of white wine to go with the meal. Most enjoyable and certainly worth a recommendation. Jane.
