250 gm sugar
1 cup water
1 cup orange juice
5 cup fresh cranberries
1 tsp cinnamon powder
1 tbsp orange peel
Pinch of salt


1. Take a deep sauce pan and put all the cranberries with water and let it boil on medium heat.
2. When the berries starts to tender or burst add sugar and orange juice and simmer for 10-15 mins. until berries become completely soft.
3. When sauce gets thick add cinnamon powder, salt and orange peel and cook for further 5 mins.
4. After that remove the pan from heat and let it cool to room temperature as the temperature goes down the sauce will get thick. To preserve the cranberries sauce put the sauce into an air tight jar and place it into fridge you can easily use it for 10-15 days after use.
